THE CAREGIVERS

Caring for an elderly relative can be hard enough, especially when they are nearing the end of their life but when ghosts are involved it is downright scary.

HELEN must decide to overcome her own sins and addictions to decide if family matters enough to make the ultimate sacrifice. Helen is an alcoholic and an emergency room nurse. When a family comes into the hospital after an accident Helen accidentally gives a child an adult dose of a pain killer which kills the child. Financially ruined Helen and her husband KYLE are desperate to find a way out of the hole Helen’s addiction has plunged them into.

Then, a letter comes from Helen’s aunt’s lawyer. Helen has not spoken to her Aunt, OPAL KENNEDY, in 40 years. Helen is shocked by the letter asking her to come and care for Opal, whose health is failing. Apparently, she does not have much time left, and wants to leave her estate to Helen. Seeing that her Aunt married into money this could be the light at the end of their dark tunnel, so they jump at the chance.

Arriving, Helen and Kyle are amazed at the splendor of the home and property. Helen jumps right back into her natural nurse mode, and Kyle takes on other household duties. Everything seems fine at first, but things start appearing and things start to be where they were not last left. Then Kyle and Helen start seeing GHOSTS and finally upsetting the GATEKEEPER TO HELL.

Helen discovers the only way to save her Aunt from being taken to Hell is for Helen to agree to let the Gatekeeper take Helen’s soul once she passes on.
